Ultrasound is a noninvasive treatment that uses sound waves that create vibrations and heat in targeted areas of the body to help relive pain, improve circulation, and promote healing.

Ultrasound is often used to treat chronic pain, muscle spasm, soft tissue injuries like ligament sprains, muscle strains and tendonitis. Dr. Kristen also utilized therapeutic ultrasound to treat clogged milk ducts and mastitis.
